Kate Middleton And Prince William Thank Hospital In New Statement
Kate Middleton and Prince William released a new statement on Tuesday morning, thanking the staff at the hospital where they welcomed their first child - a boy - the day before.
The pair stayed overnight at in the Lindo wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London.
On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were quoted as saying: "We would like to thank the staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole hospital for the tremendous care the three of us have received. We know it has been a very busy period for the hospital and we would like to thank everyone - staff, patients and visitors - for their understanding during this time."
The new mother and the royal baby could depart the facility late on Tuesday, although there are reports that they could stay an additional night.
It's unknown whether they will receive visitors before their departure.
