Michael Strahan And Nicole Murphy Split

Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy have gone their separate ways, putting an end to their five-year engagement.

The pair's reps both confirmed the news on Friday.

"They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship," Strahan's rep said in a statement.

Strahan, who hosts "Live with Michael and Kelly" and will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend, started dating Murphy in 2007.


Both previously wed. Strahan was married to Wanda Hutchins and Jean Muggli, and Murphy to Eddie Murphy.


The former couple got engaged in 2009.
