Beyonce's Dad Thinks Elevator Fight Was Staged For Publicity (AUDIO)

Beyonce and Solange Knowles' father Mathew Knowles revealed to a Houston radio talk show on Wednesday that the elevator brawl between Solange and Jay Z everyone was talking about was actually a PR stunt to boost Beyonce's tour sales and Solange's record sales!


"I know, because we've done this…From experience, there's a tour going on, so you have to sometimes ignite that tour. It's called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot of time," Mathew was quoted as saying, noting: "Everybody's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200 percent."

Mathew, who is teaching "The Entertainment Industry: How To Get In?" (aka, "How to be Like Beyonce") at Houston Community College Central on September 13, pointed out: "You have to be smart, you have to understand the media" to make it in the business.

Ever since Beyonce, 32, dissolved her business relationship with her dad (Mathew was her manager) after their parents divorced in 2011, things got pretty  intense between them even though she refused the business decision had an impact on their private lives.
