Adam Levine Denies Maroon 5 Super Bowl Rumors
Adam Levine stopped by the Howard Stern radio show and dismissed rumors that Maroon 5 is in negotiations to play the Super Bowl in 2016.
"I don't know where that (rumor) came from," Levine, 36, said, noting: "I like the fact that we can talk about it, because I think the band would be thrilled to do it. As far as where the rumors came from, that had nothing to do with any real conversation."
"I know that we're probably on a shortlist…We've been on a short list for a couple of years. (We) very actively want to play the Super Bowl," Adam added.
