Philip Seymour Hoffman Entered Treatment For Heroin And Prescription Pills
Accoring to reports, Philip Seymour Hoffman checked into treatment for a drug habit earlier this month.
According to celebrity website TMZ, Seymour Hoffman, 45, left an East Coast facility last week after 10 days of treatment for substance abuse that started with prescription pills before escalating to heroin.
Hoffman is said to have entered detox about a week into the heroin use, recognizing that things had gotten out of control.
He is reportedly already clean and working on a film set in Europe.
It has to be noted that the Oscar winner dealt with drug abuse problems in his early twenties but had been sober for two decades before the recent relapse.
