Camille Grammer had a "radical hysterectomy" on Friday after her endometrial cancer diagnosis.
"The surgery went well and she is expected to make a complete recovery following a significant recuperation period," Grammer's rep revealed.
Grammer, 45, is said to have been at a great risk for the cancer, which wasfound out in an early stage, due to genetics and credits "regular checkups and monitoring" for her "early detection and rapid treatment."
"Ms. Grammer expresses gratitude to all the amazing health care professionals who have taken such loving and nurturing care of her," her spokesperson was quoted as saying, adding: "She urges all women to be aware of genetic factors relating to women's cancers and get regular checkups."
