Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart Split

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have gone their separate ways after two and a half years together.  






According to numerous reports, the pair has gradually and amicably called it quits over the past couple of months.

Sources claim that Lopez, 44, and Smart, 26, have stayed pals (the two appeared at the Billboard Music Awards together three weeks ago), but that their private and professional interests made the relationships too hard to keep.


Allegations of Smart's supposed romance with a transsexual model was not the reason for the split.

Lopez and Smart started dating in late 2011, briefly after she and ex-husband Marc Anthony, 45, revealed their divorce.



Neither Lopez nor Smart has said anything publicly of the breakup yet.
