Jennifer Lopez Will Perform At World Cup
Jennifer Lopez will be singing at the World Cup's opening ceremony on Thursday, despite FIFA previously announcing she wouldn't participate, due to "production issues."
Lopez's spokesperson was quoted as saying: "Jennifer has always wanted to participate in the World Cup opening ceremonies. We have been trying to work out scheduling and logistics. Any statements to the contrary were premature."
"Jennifer would not want to disappoint her fans or fans of (soccer). She will be there," the rep concluded.
Lopez, 44, is scheduled to perform the official FIFA World Cup track "We Are One (Ole Ola)" with Pitbull and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte.
