August Alsina Remains Hospitalized For "Multiple Seizures" After Collapsing Onstage During Concert

August Alsina is reportedly in intensive care at a Manhattan hospital after collapsing onstage during his concert on Monday night.  




According to celebrity website TMZ, Alsina, 22, is receiving treatment for numerous seizures at an unnamed hospital.

Just in case you have missed it, Alsina fainted during his gig, which was captured in a clip obtained by TMZ.






Doctors think Alsina may have collapsed due to "exhaustion and dehydration,", adding that no alcohol or drugs - except for marijuana - were found in the performer's system.

Witnesses revealed that the artist was walking near the front of the stage during the Irving Plaza concert when he all of a sudden fainted. According to previous reports, Alsina seemed to be "out cold."


Alsina was rushed to the hospital after being carried backstage by several of his security guards. Paramedics were called to the scene.

Alsina's show in Cincinnati on Tuesday was immediately postponed after it was announced he remains hospitalized. According to MTV News, his concert set for Friday in Indianapolis remains unknown.
