Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Tax Evasion

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was charged with tax evasion on Wednesday and is going to surrender to authorities today.

According to the indictment against him, the former "Jersey Shore" alum is blamed for failing to pay his full income tax on a shocking $8.9 million in earnings.

Prosecutors in New Jersey state The Situation instead filed bogus tax returns to make it seem he had complied with his obligations.

According to celebrity website TMZ, the star's brother, Marc, was accused of conspiracy to commit tax fraud and will also turn himself in today.

The news comes three months after Sorrentino, 32, was busted due to an awful fight with his other brother, Frank, at their family-owned tanning salon.

The Situation accepted a plea deal in July, in which he was ordered to undergo 12 weeks of anger management and then, pending completion, would have his battery charge diminished to disorderly conduct.

It's unknown yet how this recent legal issue will affect the family's TVGN reality show "The Sorrentinos."
