Ann-Margret Plastic Surgery
Swedish-American actress, singer and dancer Ann-Margret (full name:Ann-Margret Olsson) is rumored to have had plastic surgery to maintain her youthful appearance.
In detail, Ann-Margret, 71, is speculated to have had a facelift, eyelid lift, botox injections and facial fillers.
Ann-Margret has never admitted to going under the plastic surgeon's knife except for the reconstructive surgery she had after a near fatal accident - she plummeted 22 feet from a stage scaffold, suffering a brain concussion and fracturing five facial bones, her jaw and her left arm - that took place during a Las Vegas show in 1972. Coming out of four days in a coma Ann-Margret remembers: "I knew something was wrong when they wouldn't let me look into the mirror." The plastic surgery ("all done from inside, the doctor didn't cut my face") was a masterwork.
The question is: "What plastic surgeon experts believe about Ann-Margret's plastic surgery?"
Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer was quoted as saying: "Ann-Margret looks great for her age. She does have a facelift look, but the pictures are not clear enough to know for sure."
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer claimed:"Ann Margaret has always been known for her beauty and even now in her golden years she still looks great. She looks like she has had a few cosmetic procedures such as a facelift and eyelid lift and botox and fillers to help maintain her look. It looks natural and not overdone."
Dr. Paul A. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California explained: "Ann Margaret may have had a facelift, Botox, and facial fillers. Overall, any work performed was conservative and her look is natural."
Conclusion: Judging by the before and after photos, Ann-Margret doesn't have so many wrinkles for a woman her age. She has certainly had work done to look like that but we can't say she has gone overboard with plastic surgery. No doubt she is aging gracefully.
