British actress Julie Christie, best known as Lara Antipova in "Doctor Zhivago", has undergone plastic surgery to turn back the hands of time.
Christie, 73, admitted to having plastic surgery for more than one time.
Julie revealed to having work on her jawline, which possibly means she had a lower facelift, had her jowls removed and the underlying muscles tightened.
She had a facelift in the 90s at the age of 57 after moving to America when she became disappointed she was losing her youthful image.
Christie admits to being tempted every time she looks at herself. "I'm tempted every time I look in the mirror. You want to get your face back when you see all the lines around your chin, neck, eyes, mouth and your bloody arms and everything else!" Christie was quoted as saying.
"I know what I look like - then I look in the mirror and don't look like that person. I think, I don't know who that is," Christie claimed.
Julie explained to the Daily Mail: "People who are older than you appear to be younger. It is really undermining. You know they are older than you, yet you look like their mother."
According to plastic surgeon expert Dr. Paul Nassif: "Julie Christie looks fantastic. She is aging gracefully and possibly had lower facelift that has natural results."
"Women her age need to focus on their skin and possibly consider some procedures to eyebrow and face, like an eyelid and facelift for a natural, rested appearance," Dr. Nassif stated.
"Julie could definitely benefit from an endoscopic brow lift and upper blepharoplasty to rejuvenate her eye and brow region," Dr. Nassif advised.
