Angelina Jolie Awarded Honorary Damehood By Queen Elizabeth (PHOTOS)

Angelina Jolie was made an honorary dame by Queen Elizabeth on Friday.  





At Buckingham Palace, Jolie was awarded the insignia for the Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George.

Just in case you have missed it, Angelina's recognition was previously revealed as part of the Queen's Birthday Honors earlier this year.



The Oscar winner claimed at the time: "To receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to."

Jolie was distinguished for her services to British foreign affairs and her endeavours at ending sexual violence in war zones.
