Gisele Bundchen Pays Tribute To Fashion Blogger Who Died Of Cancer At 16

Karina Xavier, a young fashion blogger who stunned fans with her talent including Gisele Bundchen, has passed away after struggling with cancer.

She was 16 years old.

Last December, Bundchen, 34, visited unexpectedly Xavier in Boston, hitting it off with the Chic by Karina blogger.

Both women were Brazil natives who lived in Massachusetts and succeeded in the world of fashion. Xavier also gave Gisele some beauty tips.

This week, Xavier lost her life-long battle with bone cancer and the supermodel paid tribute on Instagram, sharing a picture of the two.

"Last year I met a special girl, she inspired me and so many others with her strength, positivity and love for life," Gisele wrote, adding: "Today she became an angel. RIP @chicbykarina. Sending all my love to her family."
