Ian Somerhalder Pays Tribute To Nikki Reed (PHOTO)

Ian Somerhalder took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate his puppy and paid tribute to girlfriend Nikki Reed.  



In the caption for a selfie Reed, 26, took of herself, Somerhalder, 35, and two dogs, the "Vampire Diaries" star wrote: "A day with 3 of the most beautiful ladies in the universe." 

Ian posted that it has been a year since his dog Nietzshe gave birth and now welcomed her "to the wonderful world of being spayed."

 


Somerhalder also claimed that all dogs should be spayed when ready and defended adoption of shelter dogs.

"@iamnikkireed your recent work with Gilt benefiting the @aspca is truly truky (sic) extraordinary," Somerhalder tweeted.

The actor went on: "Thank you for giving so much of your life and for being a strong voice for those whom (can't) speak."






"My hat is off to you. You amaze me," Somerhalder noted, adding: "Love, Ian."

It has to be mentioned that Somerhalder's co-star and ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev was also there when Nietzshe gave birth.
