Joaquin Phoenix And Reese Witherspoon Star In "Inherent Vice" (TRAILER)

Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon team up again in Paul Thomas Anderson's highly anticipated movie "Inherent Vice".


A new trailer for the feature film has just been released!

Phoenix portrays Larry "Doc" Sportello, a man who gets involved in a weird detective case with his ex-girlfriend's connections.


The movie is based on Thomas Pynchon's novel of the same name and is set in 1970s Los Angeles.

Owen Wilson, Josh Brolin, Benicio Del Toro, Jena Malone, Martin Short and Sasha Pieterse are also included in the psychedelic adaptation of the 2009 novel.


Phoenix and Witherspoon initially worked together in "Walk The Line".

"Inherent Vice" hits theaters in December.
