Naomi Campbell Autocorrect Error Congratulates "Malaria" On Winning Nobel Peace Prize
Naomi Campbell made a crucial error on Saturday.
Campbell, 44, took to twitter to congratulate Malala Yousafzai, the 17-year-old Pakistani girl whose advocacy for girls' educational rights led to a Nobel Peace Prize this week.
Campbell's well-intentioned message included an unfortunate autocorrect fail.
"Congratulations malaria on your #NoblePeacePrize #2014" the supermodel wrote.
Needless to say, "malaria" was trending on twitter.
Naomi was finally alerted to her mistake and quickly corrected it.
She tweeted: "Darlings my iPhone and I are at odds it seems I type a word it seems to spit out another, forgive me CONGRATULATIONS @malalafund on your #2014 NOBLEPEACEPRIZE #YOUNGESTEVER # RESPECT # #inspire #admire."
