Prince William And Kate Middleton Warn Photog: "Stop Harassing Prince George" (Full Statement)

Prince William and Kate Middleton have given a warning against an individual to stop "harassing" their 14-month-old boy, Prince George.

The royal couple took legal action after an incident last week during which a photographer in question was seen at the central London park Prince George was visiting with his nanny.

According to a statement issued on Thursday, William, 32, and Middleton, 32, have "taken legal steps to ask that an individual ceases harassing and following both Prince George and his nanny as they go about their ordinary daily lives."

"There is reason to suspect that the individual may been placing Prince George under surveillance and monitoring his daily routines for a period of time," the statement went on.

The royal parents noted that they want their son to "lead as ordinary a life as possible," regardless of the public role that he "will one day inherit."

The statement added: "No parent would tolerate the suspicion of someone pursuing and harassing their child and carer whilst their child is playing in a public park or going about their daily activities."

Middleton is currently expecting a second child and suffering from severe morning sickness, which has led her to call off multiple royal engagements.
