Stephen Collins' TV Wife Supports Him: "He Is A Good Guy" (VIDEO)
Despite the shocking claims issued today against "7th Heaven" star Stephen Collins, his on-screen wife Catherine Hicks stands by his side, calling him a "good" guy.
Hicks, who starred as matriarch Annie Camden on the popular show about a pastor and his wife who have seven kids, was filmed on Tuesday walking in a Santa Monica hospital parking garage where she was asked about the recordings in which Collins, 67, confesses to molesting several young girls between the the ages of 10 and 13.
Hicks smiles and states she heard the news but that there was never any evidence he was a pedophile from their years on set where they collaborated with several underage actors and actresses.
"Stephen is a good guy in my opinion," Hicks is quoted as saying.
Just in case you have missed it, celebrity website TMZ published tapes of a marriage therapy session between Collins and his estranged wife Faye Grant, where he discusses about several instances where he exposed himself to young girls and forced at least one to touch his private parts.
The star has since been fired from a small part in the "Ted" sequel and quit his spot on the national board for the Screen Actors Guild.
Both the NYPD and LAPD are investigating the allegations of sexual assault and it is speculated that there were at least three victims.
