Ashlee Simpson Nose Job
American singer-songwriter and actress Ashlee Simpson (full name: Ashlee Nicole Simpson) has reportedly had a nose job to remove a bump from her nose.
Simpson, 28, admitted to having gone under the plastic surgeon's knife for a nose job operation in 2006.
Even her father Joe confirmed that his daughter's nose was perfected by a plastic surgeon...
Judging by the before and after pictures, we can't help but notice that Ashlee got a very drastic nose job as she wanted so much to straighten her crooked nose. Before the nose job, she had a large hump on the bridge of her nose.
Ashlee insists it is everybody's individual right to have a plastic surgery to improve their image. On the other hand, people should seriously consider the possibility it could go wrong.
Ashley was quoted as saying: "If people want to get surgery, it's a personal thing. But it's not something anyone should rush into. Once it's done, it's done."
Ashlee also told Us Weekly: "I think as long as people have two eyes, then you probably know the answer." But when asked if she is she pleased with the work that was done, Ashlee responds: "I don't think I am more beautiful than I was (before)."
The question is: "What plastic surgeon experts believe about Ashlee Simpson's plastic surgery?"
According to Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif.: "In addition to bad makeup, it looks like Ashlee's chin is slightly broader than it used to be, leading to suspicion that a chin implant was placed in an attempt to create a softer look. Chin implants are often used when rhinoplasties are performed to balance out the face with the nose, which leads us to scrutinize the nose. From only the front angle, it's difficult to say if anything else has been done to the nose, it looks like the tip and columella of Ashlee's nose has been lifted up ever so slightly when compared to previous sightings. Even though a profile photograph is not present, from previous photos her hump has been reduced and the surgeon did an excellent job."
New York plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer explained: "Ashlee Simpson had a dramatic transformation several years back when she had her much needed rhinoplasty. Unfortunately, the most recent photo of her is scary. She appears to have asymmetric and overzealous injections of her lips, asymmetric brows, squareness of her chin, a new distortion to her nose and deer-in-the-headlight eyes. I agree, she should have left well enough alone."
Celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Rawnsley was quoted as saying: "The biggest change that we notice from profile view is the conversion of her convex nasal bridge to a relatively straight bridge. This is accomplished by cutting the cartilage and bone of the bridge off. This leaves an "open roof" of nasal bones that is closed surgically with controlled fracture of the nasal bones inward. The result is a narrower, smaller nose with a straight profile. From the profile views, another interesting thing happens visually. The tip of the nose appears to rotate upward as the bump is removed. While sometimes its necessary to surgically rotate the tip for droopy nasal tips, Ashley’s new perkier tip is mostly an optical illusion. Her tip has also been refined by debulking some of the tip cartilages".
It has to be mentioned that In Touch magazine published a bizarre story about Ashlee Simpson's nose "growing up" after her nose job procedure.
