Renee Alway Of "America's Next Top Model" In Jail

Former "America's Next Top Model" finalist Renee Alway is reportedly in jail following a recent six-hour standoff with a SWAT team in Palm Springs, California.



Police had replied on June 28 to a report of a suspicious female lurking near a vacant residence.

When cops arrived on the scene, Alway, 27, who had been busted twice earlier in the year, was found hiding with a firearm in the garage.

Officers considered that an armed man was also hiding in the condo itself, leading to a prolonged standoff during which the SWAT team was called to sweep the premises - although no one else was discovered.




According to law enforcement authorities, Alway was arrested on charges including burglary, fraud and possession of a controlled substance.

It has to be noted that Alway remains still in custody on $150,000 bail, having also been charged with committing a felony while on bail.
