Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder Reunion As His Dog Gives Birth To Puppies (PHOTOS)

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder may have gone their separate ways, but that doesn't mean they can't share their mutual love for Ian's dog, Nietzsche.


On Tuesday, the former couple reunited in Atlanta to help Nietzshe give birth to eight lovely puppies.

Somerhalder, 34, shared an image of his dog on twitter, writing: "Live from the whelping box In Atlanta! Panting, pushing, contractions."

Dobrev, 24, later posted a shot of the mother with her new puppies, captioning the photo: "Birthing little Nietzsches…Such a beautiful + equally terrifying thing to witness…The miracle of life :) #Wow."

The exes, who are in Atlanta to film the upcoming season of "The Vampire Diaries," have remained pals since their breakup last spring.
