Jonathan Dwyer Arrested For Domestic Violence

Jonathan Dwyer of the Arizona Cardinals was arrested for suspicion of domestic abuse on Wednesday.

According to local reports, the specific circumstances surrounding the case have not yet been revealed, but the running back was pulled from the team's practice and brought to police headquarters in Phoenix.

Dwyer, who is married to Kayla Dwyer and they recently had their first child, a boy Jonathan Dwyer, Jr, was reportedly charged with aggravated battery and preventing someone from calling 911.







His arrest is the latest in a wave of abuse cases involving NFL players, including former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice's elevator attack of his then-fiancee and Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson's hitting his young son.
