Serena Williams Wins 18th Grand Slam At US Open
Serena Williams can't help but smile while holding up the championship trophy after beating Caroline Wozniacki in the women's singles final match of the 2014 US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Sunday in New York City.
Williams, 32, defeated Danish player Wozniacki in two sets by a score of 6-3, 6-3 to win for the third straight time at the grand slam tournament.
Williams joined some elite company on Sunday as she tied legendary tennis players Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert with her 18th Grand Slam singles title.
